When you buy the Beginner’s Set, spore visibility is dependent on the characteristics of the spores themselves. As a result, not all spore syringes will look the same visibly. Despite any visible differences, they’re still viable for microscopy research. Beginner Friendly Spores

With so many Cubensis varieties out there, it can be hard to know where to begin your research. The Beginner’s Set can help narrow it down and provide you with a great starting point. This set includes a total of 4 spore syringes that are all great varieties to study for those who are just starting out in the hobby and are looking for some practice. 

It comes with 1 Golden Teacher syringe and 1 B+ Syringe. Both of these are classic genetics that are extremely easy to work with (they are also our all time most popular genetics). The other 2 are your choice between Burma, Creeper, Ecuadorian, Lizard King, Mazatapec, Treasure Coast, or Red Boys. All of these selections are easy to research and will provide a solid jumping off point into the microscopy and mycology world. They are all very beginner friendly spores to research. If you’re still not sure which ones to start with, you can also select “dealer’s choice” to receive a surprise one of our choosing!

Why Buy Our Beginner’s Set?

We strive to provide you with the cleanest possible products. We make the all of the spore syringe solution in front of Laminar Flow Hoods with HEPA filters. These HEPA filters have an efficiency rating of 99.97% which means that the filter removes 99.97% of particles in the air. To make the actual spore solution, we take clean spores and mix them with sterile distilled water. Then, a magnetic stirrer properly mixes the solution to ensure an even distribution of spores throughout the solution.

Each Cubensis Beginner’s Set will include:

• 4 10cc P. Cubensis syringes of beginner spores: 1 Golden Teacher, 1 B+, and 2 varieties of your choosing
• Each syringe will come with its own sterile 18g blunt tipped needle
• 1 sticker (1 per order)
• 1 alcohol prep pad
