Spore Visibility Disclaimer: When you buy Mazatapec spore syringes, the visibility is dependent on the characteristics of the spores themselves. As a result, not all spore syringes will look the same visibly. Some may have some black clumps or specs in them and others may appear clear to the naked eye. Despite these visible differences, spore syringes are still made to be viable for microscopy research.
Mazatapec Spores Information
Mazatapec is a Cubensis variety with a very interesting history. To begin with, it originated in the Oaxaca mountains in central Mexico. The mushroom was ceremoniously used by the Mazatec people, an indigenous group living in the area. They used the mushrooms in sacred ceremonies to connect with spirits and the divine, but also to heal their ailments.
Fast forward to the 1950’s, researcher R. Gordon Wasson traveled to Oaxaca to study and write about the Mazatec tribe and their mushroom ceremonies. While there, he met Maria Sabina, a Mazatec medicine woman. She taught him about the mushrooms and their uses. Soon after, in 1957 Wasson writes an article in TIME magazine about his experiences in Oaxaca, and more importantly about the, magic mushrooms.
At this point, Mazatapec becomes the first Psilocybin species introduced to the Western world. This fact is why these spores are so popular and should be a part of every spore collector’s library! On top of that, it is great for both novice and advanced researchers.
We strive to provide you with the cleanest possible products. We make all of the Golden Teacher spore syringe solution in front of Laminar Flow Hoods with HEPA filters. These HEPA filters have an efficiency rating of 99.97%. Meaning that the filter removes 99.97% of particles in the air. To make the actual spore solution, we take clean spores and mix them with sterile distilled water. Then, a magnetic stirrer properly mixes the solution to ensure an even distribution of spores throughout the solution.
