Disclaimer:

When you buy P. Cubensis “Lizard King” spores, be aware that they’re considered “active spores” which are for microscopy purposes only. DO NOT CONTACT US ABOUT ANYTHING REGARDING CULTIVATING OR GERMINATING ACTIVE SPORES.

Shipping is unavailable to California, Idaho, & Georgia. These 3 states strictly prohibit the possession of spores from psilocybin and also psilocin producing mushroom species. We will refuse and void any orders made to these states. Further, any payments made for orders to CA, ID, or GA will incur a $5 cancellation fee.

The provided images are for informational and educational purposes only and are for reference only. Images and Lizard King spores are acquired from outside, trusted sources in a legal manner. We do not condone or participate in the cultivation of psilocybin or psilocin producing mushroom species.

When you buy Lizard King syringes, visibility is dependent on the characteristics of the spores themselves. As a result, not all spore syringes will look the same visibly. Despite any visible differences, Lizard King syringes are still viable for microscopy research. More information on how we make our spore syringes and possible visible differences, check out our FAQ or blog post How To Make Spore Syringes.

Lizard King Origin information

Lizard King is another Cubensis variety that originates from Mexico (similar to Mazatapec and Huautla). It’s named after its discoverer, a person who went under the pseudonym “The Lizard King”. An interesting side note is that The Lizard King is also well known for collecting other mushroom specimens and spores that are highly regarded in the microscopy community.

A unique characteristic of the Lizard King variety is that when it was first found in Mexico, it was growing on a mixture of wood chips and horse manure. This is an interesting feat because Cubensis mushrooms are not commonly observed growing on wood chips. With this in mind, we can say that the genetics are very adaptable and resilient which makes them great spores for any skill level. On top of that, Lizard King genetics are very dependable, widely known for providing consistent research underneath the scope, which is why it remains a staple Cubensis variety.
