We do not condone or participate in the cultivation of psilocybin or psilocin producing mushroom species.
When you buy the Pan Cyan “Texas Titan” syringes, spore visibility is dependent on the characteristics of the spores themselves. As a result, not all spore syringes will look the same visibly. Despite any visible differences, they’re still viable for microscopy research. More information on how we make our spore syringes and possible visible differences, check out our FAQ or blog post “Making Syringes”.
Pan Cyan Information
Panaeolus cyanescens is a mushroom species that goes by many names. Some of these include, “Copelandia cyanescens”,“Pan Cyans”, and “Blue Meanies” (make sure not to confuse it with cubensis “Blue Meanies” ). Additionally, they are genetically similar to the species Panaeolus tropicalis.
This species has a very wide geographic distribution and as a result they grow wildly all over the world. Pan cyans are a dung loving species and it is common to find them growing wildly on manure piles. They can also be found growing on a mixture of manure and straw.
Pan Cyan mushrooms are much smaller compared to P. Cubensis. They tend to be much skinner in the stem, smaller in the cap, and shorter in height. Note that Pan Cyans are an advanced species to work with and have different and more precise research conditions than Cubensis spores.
Pan Cyan “Texas Titan”
Texas Titan is a variety that has quickly become popular in the mycology community, especially those who enjoy working with Pan Cyans as a species. As the saying goes, “everything’s bigger in Texas”, which remains true for this Texas Cyan. They tend to be quite large, both tall and thick, especially for this species. Due to this many enjoy working with them on their own or trying to cross them with other Cyan varieties in order to create new hybrids. Whichever route you decide, you’ll definitely love these genetics!
Why Buy Our Texas Titan Spores?
We strive to provide you with the cleanest possible products. We make the all of the Pan Cyan “Texas Titan” spore syringe solution in front of Laminar Flow Hoods with HEPA filters. These HEPA filters have an efficiency rating of 99.97%. Meaning that the filter removes 99.97% of particles in the air. To make the actual spore solution, we take clean spores and mix them with sterile distilled water.
