Colonizing agar plate of Black Oyster
Black Pearl Oyster, also known as “Pleurotus Ostreatus” is hybrid cross of Black Oyster and King Trumpet mushrooms that was developed in Japan. They are a very meaty texture, yet have a bit of softness to them. Both the cap and stem are edible, this feature combined with its flavor make it a perfect addition to soups, stews, and pasta dishes. These mushrooms also contain antioxidants, anti-inflammatory properties and high levels of vitamins making it a perfect addition to any plate.
