Wine Cap is also known as Stropharia rugosoannulata.

Edible mushroom that lends an earthy, nutty flavor; some say it has hints of potatoes and red wine. Great to plant in gardens as they are known to enrich soils.

Easy- This species is easy to cultivate and is highly recommended for someone who is just starting in gourmet/medicinal mushroom cultivation.


Medium Depositor- Specimens that produce nice medium sized prints averaging around 50mm give or take 10mm. Spore deposits may vary but average will be a nice visible print containing hundreds of millions of spores.
