Description
Texas Yellow Cap (TYC) Spore Syringe Kit
Disclaimer:
If you want to buy Texas Yellow Cap mushroom spore syringes, be cautious as Texas Yellow Cap spores are “active spores” which are for microscopy or artistic purposes. We will not complete your order if you contact us regarding the cultivation of active spores. Similarly, for legal reasons if you mention cultivating active spores or ask for cultivating advice, you will be subsequently banned from the site.
These spores are from a species that produces psilocybin and psilocin. For legal reasons they can only ship to 47 out of the 50 United States. Shipping is unavailable to California, Idaho, and Georgia.
Sonoran Spores acquires these spores and photos from outside, trusted sources in a legal manner. Further, Sonoran Spores does not condone or participate in the cultivation of psilocybin/psilocin producing or “active” species. Sonoran Spores also does not have any mycelium or fruiting bodies of psilocybin and psilocin producing species. We will not sell any products containing this so do not ask.
Spore Visibility Disclaimer: When you buy Texas Yellow Cap mushroom spores, visibility is dependent on the characteristics of the spores themselves. As a result, not all spore syringes will look the same visibly. Some may have some black clumps or specs in them and others may appear clear to the naked eye. Despite these visible differences, spore syringes are still made to be viable for microscopy research.
Origin information
This is a variety that is related to Texas Orange Cap (TOC) and is said to be created in 1998 by an amateur mycologist. This means they act as a domesticated strain which is great for beginner microscopists as their spores are designed to be extremely contaminant resistant.
Though they are related to the classic Texas Orange Cap strain there are some differences mainly in the appearance. They tend to be a little taller than their TOC counterparts. And like most mushrooms, they have a hemispheric cap that expands with age. Though there are some difference, the aggression and strength of the mycelium is very similar to TOC as they are both strong and hardy. But, TYC would be a little more resilient meaning these spores will be especially great for people who are learning how to handle spores. Once they grow their difference becomes more distinct. As one would expect the colors are different. They are much more bright yellow and pop rather than the flatter orange of the TOC.
As a starting microscopist, TYC might be perfect as it hardy nature is almost designed for amateurs to handle. Don’t miss out order your TYC mushroom swabs today!
Why Buy Our Texas Yellow Cap Syringes?
We strive to provide you with the cleanest possible products. We make the all of the Texas Yellow Cap spore syringe solution in front of Laminar Flow Hoods with HEPA filters. These HEPA filters have an efficiency rating of 99.97%. Meaning that the filter removes 99.97% of particles in the air. To make the actual spore solution, we take clean spores and mix them with sterile distilled water. Then, a magnetic stirrer properly mixes the solution to ensure an even distribution of spores throughout the solution.
