When you buy Nepal Chitwan spore syringe, visibility is dependent on the characteristics of the spores themselves. As a result, not all spore syringes will look the same visibly. Despite any visible differences, they are still viable for microscopy research. More information on how we make our spore syringes and possible visible differences, check out our FAQ or blog post How To Make Spore Syringes.

Nepal Chitwan Spore Information

This is a cubensis variety that provides spore any researcher would want! Specifically stemming from the Chitwan jungles located in Nepal at the Foothills of the Himalayas. These spores are from the far east, with lots of rich information and culture surrounding them.

Found in what was thought to be an elephant’s or rhino’s dung. This was during unusually dry conditions. Let this be a testament to how resilient this mushroom and its spores are!

The Nepal Chitwan mushroom starts off with strong mycelial growth. As one can expect as it grows in a hardy region of the world. Then, it becomes a beautiful mushroom with a thick and dense stem that has a yellow hue. Next is its medium-sized cap that is hemispherical in shape with a golden brown color. Its cap rips its veil as it matures and flattens out into a flat plane making it a decent spore provider. These are a great introduction to study mushroom spores from this region of the world!
