Disclaimers
Sunny Side Up Isolated Spore Syringes are considered “active spores” which are for microscopy purposes only. DO NOT CONTACT US ABOUT ANYTHING REGARDING CULTIVATING OR GERMINATING SUNNY SIDE UP ISO’S.
Shipping is unavailable to California, Idaho, & Georgia. These 3 states strictly prohibit the possession of spores of both psilocybin and psilocin producing mushroom species. Orders to these states will be refused and subsequently voided. Any payments made for orders to CA, ID, or GA will incur a $5 cancellation fee.

We do not condone or participate in the cultivation of psilocybin or psilocin producing mushroom species.
Sunny Side Up ISO Information
Isolated spore syringes, also known as ISO syringes, contain mushroom genetics that are more stabilized than a normal multispore syringe (MSS). Great care has been taken to isolate the strongest, fastest, and most hardy genetics that will provide vigorous and more consistent research under the microscope. Multispore syringes contain a great deal of genetic diversity, and therefore can present a multitude of different phenotypes. On the other hand, isolated spore syringes have been stabilized in order to present only one phenotype which will provide the most optimized and consistent research.
Sunny Side Up mushroom genetics are a more rare Cubensis variety to find. The name Sunny Side Up is referring the look of the fruiting body. Uniquely, this variety is known for its cap that is shaped just like a sunny side up egg! The caps are also wavy and tight around the stem. On the other hand, the stem is thick, pale, and a little on the shorter side.
Another trait that makes this variety interesting to study is the fact that its an albino! But what constitutes a true albino mushroom? Well, Albinism is a genetic mutation that can specifically affect the genes responsible for producing pigments. This means that affected individuals lack all color pigmentation. Most animal species (mammals, reptiles, amphibians, etc), as well as mushrooms can be affected by it. In most albino animals, the pigment that’s lacking is melanin. While mushrooms do contain melanin, they also contain a multitude of other pigments (many of which are used to make medicines) that are also affected by the Albino mutation.
Microscopic Features
It’s important to note that because they’re an albino variety, Sunny Side Up will have transparent spores. When spores are clear they can bruise blue leading the swab to appear blue rather than clear. Once you put them under the microscope, they will be clear. The spores are typically subellipsoid (ellipse) shaped and they are present on a 4-spored basidia. They are approximately 13×8 micrometers in size.
