PF Classic Spore Swab Pack

If you want to buy PF Classic Cubensis spore swabs, be cautious as PF Classic mushroom spores are “active spores” which are for microscopy or artistic purposes. We will not complete your order if you contact us regarding the cultivation of active spores. Similarly, for legal reasons if you mention cultivating active spores or ask for cultivating advice, you will be subsequently banned from the site.

These spores are from a species that produces psilocybin and psilocin. For legal reasons they can only ship to 47 out of the 50 United States. Shipping is unavailable to California, Idaho, and Georgia.

Sonoran Spores acquires these spores and photos from outside, trusted sources in a legal manner.  Further, Sonoran Spores does not condone or participate in the cultivation of psilocybin/psilocin producing or “active” species.  Sonoran Spores also does not have any mycelium or fruiting bodies of psilocybin and psilocin producing species.  We will not sell any products containing this so do not ask.

Spore Visibility Disclaimer: When you buy PF Classic spores, visibility is dependent on the characteristics of the spores themselves. As a result, not all spore swabs will look the same visually. All swabs are unique and may not look identical to each other or the picture above. Despite these visible differences, spore swabs are still viable for microscopy research.

Origin Information

PF Classic is another great variety for those who are starting microscope research. Robert McPherson, a.k.a. Psylocybe Fanaticus, takes credit for creating these spore genetics. A legend throughout the community, he also came up with the PF Tek (WE DO NOT CODONE THE USE OF PF TEK WITH ACTIVE SPORES).

PF classic contains a unique fruit. It starts like most cubensis mushrooms, with strong mycelium that turn into many small pins. As it grows it resembles many other cubensis mushrooms. Starting with their white stems that range from small and skinny to thick and fat. The cap embodies the darker colors that cubensis can take of brown/gold.

As the mushrooms mature their unique characteristics begin to show, such as their caps expand with maturity. But much taking much longer in time than other cubensis. Meanwhile they also don’t drop spores until they’re well into maturity. This makes spores a little difficult to collect. But don’t worry, our PF Classic swabs have more than enough spores to get you researching in no time.

Subtropical. These mushrooms are known to thrive in subtropical climates places where summers get hot and humid, and the winters are mild. Usually these climates are found between the latitudes of 25 degrees and 35 degrees and the southeast side of all continents.

Research Difficulty

Medium Depositor Specimens that produce nice medium sized prints averaging around 50mm give or take 10mm. Spore deposits may vary but average will be a nice visible print containing hundreds of millions of spores.
