Leucistic Colombian LC Information

Liquid culture syringes (also sometimes called ISO’s) contain mushroom genetics that are more stabilized than normal multispore syringes (MSS). Great care has been taken to isolate the strongest, fastest, and most hardy genetics that will provide vigorous and more consistent research under the microscope. Multispore syringes contain a great deal of genetic diversity, and therefore can present a multitude of different phenotypes. On the other hand, isolated spore syringes have been stabilized in order to present a more uniform phenotype which will provide the most optimized and consistent research.

Microscopic Features

The Leucistic Colombian has dark purple to brownish spores, even if it doesn’t seem like it does. The spores are subellipsoid (ellipse) in shape and on 4-spored basidia. Their prints are generally 25-75mm in diameter and pretty good spore depositors.The caps have a convex to conic shape.
