Black Pearl Oyster, also known as “Pleurotus Ostreatus” is hybrid cross of Black Oyster and King Trumpet mushrooms that was developed in Japan. They are a very meaty texture, yet have a bit of softness to them. Both the cap and stem are edible, this feature combined with its flavor make it a perfect addition to soups, stews, and pasta dishes.
