APETar ISO Information

APETar is a riveting Cubensis variety created by the collaboration of PsyTeam United and Fungus Frequency. It’s a hybrid of arguably the 2 most popular and well known Cubensis of all time: Albino Penis Envy (APE) and Golden Teachers. APETar is an albino just like APE and commonly produces phallic specimens. Furthermore, an isolate known as “Ashtar Golden Teachers” was used in the cross, and this is basically an ISO known for its contamination resistance, speed, and above average yields for research material. 

If you’re looking for fast, yet robust results under the microscope, APETar is a great option for you! Research reveals extremely potent data, not only underneath the microscope but also through HPLC tests which average out to 1.8-2% tryptamines! These are high quality and powerful genetics that produce larger than average mushroom specimens. The caps are white but often turn a dark black with maturity. 

Microscopic Features

APETar is an albino variety which means that it has transparent spores due to lack of pigments. The spores are subellipsoid (ellipse) shaped and they are present on a 4-spored basidia. They are approximately 13×8 micrometers in size. You’ll notice very large caps, often that turn black in the center as they mature. 

Isolated spore syringes, also known as ISO syringes, contain mushroom genetics that are more stabilized than a normal multispore syringe (MSS). Great care has been taken to isolate the strongest, fastest, and most hardy genetics that will provide vigorous and more consistent research under the microscope. Multispore syringes contain a great deal of genetic diversity, and therefore can present a multitude of different phenotypes. On the other hand, isolated spore syringes have been stabilized in order to present only one phenotype which will provide the most optimized and consistent research.
