Disclaimer

If you want to buy Albino A+ swabs, be cautious as Albino A+ swabs are “active spores” which are for microscopy or artistic purposes. We will not complete your order if you contact us regarding the cultivation of active spores. Similarly, for legal reasons if you mention cultivation of these spores or ask for cultivating advice, you will be subsequently banned from the site.

These spores are from a species that produces psilocybin and psilocin. For legal reasons can only be ship to 47 out of the 50 United States. Shipping is unavailable to California, Idaho, and Georgia.

Sonoran Spores acquires these spores and photos from outside, trusted sources in a legal manner. Further, Sonoran Spores does not condone or participate in the cultivation of psilocybin/psilocin producing or “active” species. Sonoran Spores also does not have any mycelium or fruiting bodies of psilocybin and psilocin producing species. We will not sell any products containing this so do not ask.

Spore Visibility Disclaimer: When you buy lab grade Albino A+ spore swabs, visibility is dependent on the characteristics of the spores themselves. As a result, not all spore swabs will look the same visibly.  Some may have some black clumps or specs in them and others may appear clear to the naked eye. Despite these visible differences, spore syringes are still made to be viable for microscopy research.

Origin information

Albino A+ is a P. Cubensis variety derived from the A+ strain that mutated and turned leucistic. However, the name Albino A+ is misleading because this is not a true albino variety, but a leucistic one. The difference between albino and leucistic is the fact that albinos completely lack all pigmentation, while leucistic varieties retain the dark color pigments in their spores. Despite this, they the specimens are still a beautiful white to creamy color.

To pinpoint the creation of this strain would be difficult. All that can be assumed is that the Leucisitc variation was isolated and kept most likely for its looks. What this led to was the development of a Cubensis mushroom that has intrigued mycologist for some time now. The unique characteristics of its sometimes inverted cap, heavy sporulation and large fruits has led to the strain we know and love today!

We strive to provide you with the cleanest possible products. We make and package the all of the Golden Teacher spore swabs in front of Laminar Flow Hoods with HEPA filters. These HEPA filters have an efficiency rating of 99.97%. Meaning that the filter removes 99.97% of particles in the air.

Microscopic Features

When you buy Albino A+ spores syringes they will have dark purple to brownish spores. The spores are subellipsoid (ellipse) shaped and they are present on 4-spored basidia. The dark pigmentation of the spores prove that this variety is leucistic and not a true albino because true albino mushrooms lack pigmentation throughout the entire mushroom including the spores. The caps are around 35mm-75mm and are heavy depositors.
