Disclaimers

When buying Panaeolus Cyanescens mushroom prints, be aware that they’re considered “active spores” which are for microscopy purposes only. DO NOT CONTACT US ABOUT ANYTHING REGARDING CULTIVATING OR GERMINATING ACTIVE SPORES.

Shipping is unavailable to California, Idaho, & Georgia. These 3 states strictly prohibit the possession of spores from psilocybin and psilocin producing mushroom species. We will cancel and subsequently void any orders made to these 3 states. Any payments made for orders to CA, ID, or GA will also incur a $5 cancellation fee.

The provided images are for informational and educational purposes only and are used as a reference point only. Sonoran Spores acquires all spores and photos from outside, trusted sources in a legal manner. We do not condone or participate in the cultivation of psilocybin or psilocin producing mushroom species.

When you buy Panaeolus Cyanescens prints, spore visibility is dependent on the characteristics of the spores themselves. As a result, not all spore spore prints will look the same visibly. Despite any visible differences, they’re still viable for microscopy research.

Pan Cyan Information

Panaeolus cyanescens is a mushroom species that goes by many names. Some of these include, “Copelandia cyanescens”,“Pan Cyans”, and “Blue Meanies” (make sure not to confuse it with cubensis “Blue Meanies” ). Additionally, they are genetically similar to the species Panaeolus tropicalis.

This species has a very wide geographic distribution and as a result they grow wildly all over the world. Pan cyans are a dung loving species and it is common to find them growing wildly on manure piles. They can also be found growing on a mixture of manure and straw.

Pan Cyan mushrooms are much smaller compared to P. Cubensis. They tend to be much skinner in the stem, smaller in the cap, and shorter in height. Note that Pan Cyans are an advanced species to work with and have different research conditions than Cubensis spores.

Wild Pan Cyans

These spore prints were collected from wild Pan Cyan specimens which were found on Virgin Gorda (3rd largest island of the British Virgin Islands) by none other than Tamarind Tree BVI. Tamarind Tree BVI is a highly respected spore vendor who lives on the British Virgin Islands.

GordoTek has been doing a lot of fascinating research on this variety. In fact, in the first round of testing they found that the Pan Cyan “BVI” was the most potent Psilocybin mushroom that has ever been tested! These exciting results can be found here. Furthermore, GordoTek also won 1st and 2nd place in the Winter ‘22 Cultivar Cup using two different BVI specimens. More information on their winning specimens can be found here.

Note that working with spores collected from the wild may result in more contaminants, however they contain much more genetic diversity compared to most known cultivars.
Please note that these spore prints were taken on paper and not foil
