Jedi Mind Fuck ISO Information

Isolated spore syringes, also known as ISO syringes, contain mushroom genetics that are more stabilized than a normal multispore syringe (MSS). Great care has been taken to isolate the strongest, fastest, and most hardy genetics that will provide vigorous and more consistent research under the microscope. Multispore syringes contain a great deal of genetic diversity, and therefore can present a multitude of different phenotypes. On the other hand, isolated spore syringes have been stabilized in order to present only one phenotype which will provide the most optimized and consistent research. 

Jedi Mind Fuck has become incredibly popular over the last decade or so. It’s relatively new to the mycology and microscopy community and many consider them as “next generation” genetics. The origin story of Jedi Mind Fuck is largely unknown. One thing the community can agree upon is that it’s a fruit from the labor of Myco Joe (or sometimes known as Agar Joe). What we don’t know is if it was found growing in the wild, similar to a lot of other Cubensis such as Tasmanian or Thai Pink Buffalo, or if it is a genetic offshoot of Z-Strain. Whatever the case, once Myco Joe began working with it and realized all of its positive characteristics, he knew he had to continue isolating and working with it before finally sharing the genetics with others. 

This variety is resistant to contamination, very easy to research under the microscope, and in nature they can produce massive caps that drop dark purple or black spore prints that contain trillions of spores. Microscopic Features

Jedi Mind Fuck spores have extremely dark purple to black spores which are approximately 13 x 8 micrometers in size. The spores are subellipsoid (ellipse) shaped and they are present on a 4-spored basidia. The caps are 40-60mm in diameter with a convex to conic shape and are generally very heavy spore depositors.
