When you buy Leucistic Colombian prints, spore visibility is dependent on the characteristics of the spores themselves. As a result, not all spore spore prints will look the same visibly. Despite any visible differences, they’re still viable for microscopy research.

Leucistic Colombian Spore Prints

Leucistic mutations are fairly common amongst cubensis mushroom varieties. This specific one was a mutation of the Colombian variety. Leucisitc mutation cause specimens to be white in color. But unlike albinos their spores do still contain pigment. Once viewed under the microscope you can see they are the standard normal/black color. This is great for people wanting go get introduced to spores and mushrooms that aren’t necessarily standard
 
Leucistic Colombian is truthful a breath taking mushroom. Whether seen in the wild or in pictures everyone can appreciate its beauty. As it grows one can notice its very pale white color. Their stems and cap are of medium size and length while also bruising a deep blue when physically touched.

Microscopic Features

The Leucistic Colombian cubensis has dark purple to brownish spores, even if it doesn’t seem like it does. The spores are subellipsoid (ellipse) in shape and on 4-spored basidia. Their prints are generally 25-75mm in diameter and pretty good spore depositors.

Subtropical. These mushrooms are known to thrive in subtropical climates places where summers get hot and humid, and the winters are mild. Usually these climates are found between the latitudes of 25 degrees and 35 degrees and the southeast side of all continents.

Sporulation

Medium Depositor Specimens that produce nice medium sized prints averaging around 50mm give or take 10mm. Spore deposits may vary but average will be a nice visible print containing hundreds of millions of spores.
