Huautla Spore Information

Huautla are one of the classic, historic and highly sought-after P. Cubensis varieties. It takes its name consequently after the city “Huautla de Jimenez“. This is where Maria Sabina introduced the western world to psilocybin producing mushrooms and their effects. So holding these spores is like holding a piece of mushroom history!

Consequently after this shamanic meeting, the scientific community exploded with knowledge. This lead to the discovery of countless mushroom species, as well as their roles in our ecosystem. Meaning that these spores are like the start of mushroom research. Without this introduction into these specimens who knows how late of a start we would have. Along with how much less we could know now.

Huautla mushroom fruits have thin, skinny, long stems that are white and lead to its small cap. Its caps are conic shaped and are a brown/tan color. Similarly these small caps are not great at dropping spores, but we fix that problem by providing a spore swab with more than enough spores to study

This genetic line came from the region this small town is located in. Which is nice because sadly after Huautla mushrooms were introduced to the western culture, people came and poached the mushrooms from the town. As a result, they are only deep in the wilderness surrounding the land. Don’t worry though! You don’t have to find the spores as we have them right here!
