San Pedro Information

Trichocereus pachanoi or commonly known as “San Pedro” is the fastest growing species of columnar cacti and also produces the largest flowers in the cacti world. Their natural habitat is the higher elevations of South America, specifically in Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, as well as Bolivia. Because of their native habitat, they’re not considered “desert” cacti as they typically deal with damp soils, high elevations, and cooler temperatures.

Nuestra Bonita Information

Nuestra Bonita is a gorgeous Pachanoi clone that hails from San Diego, CA. The original stand grows in an old neighborhood in the area and cuts from it have since been spread far and wide. It has a unique look as it grows longer than normal spines for San Pedro. In fact, it has a similar look to the Yowie cultivar.

This Specific Nuestra Bonita

• Length: 14 inches long
• More photos available upon request
• Piece has already been cut and is currently potted in soil to encourage the rooting process. 
• Includes 1 San Pedro sticker
• This is a mid cutting which means it can planted vertically or horizontally. Horizontal planting (AKA “log style“) can cause a delay in pupping, but it will allow it to produce many more pups.
• Please note that this cutting has sun damage (as seen in last photo). This will not affect any future growth. You can always plant this piece log style with the sun damaged side planted in the ground.
