Psilocybe Caerulescens Information

This species got its common name, the Landslide Mushroom, because it is commonly found growing naturally in areas after a landslide event. It is one of three species that were likely used by ancient Aztecs for ceremonial and spiritual purposes.

Microscopic Features

Dark purple gray color, basidia: 18.2-24.1 x 7.4-9.5 um, hyaline, 4-spored. Ventricose. Pleurocystidia: 14.2-20.6 x 6.9-8.5 um, hyaline, fusoidampullaceous, with short necks.
