Disclaimer:

When you buy a KSS mushroom syringe, be aware that they’re considered “active spores” which are for microscopy purposes only. DO NOT CONTACT US ABOUT ANYTHING REGARDING CULTIVATING OR GERMINATING ACTIVE SPORES.

Shipping is unavailable to California, Idaho, & Georgia. These 3 states strictly prohibit the possession of spores from psilocybin and psilocin producing mushroom species. Orders to these states will be refused and voided. Any payments made for orders to CA, ID, or GA will incur a $5 cancellation fee.

The provided images are for informational and educational purposes only and should only be used as a reference point. Images and spores are acquired from outside, trusted sources in a legal manner. We do not condone or participate in the cultivation of psilocybin or psilocin producing mushroom species.

When you buy a KSS mushroom syringe, visibility is dependent on the characteristics of the spores themselves. As a result, not all spore syringes will look the same visibly. Despite any visible differences, they are still viable for microscopy research. More information on how we make our spore syringes and possible visible differences, check out our FAQ or blog post How To Make Spore Syringes.

Koh Samui Strain Information

We are excited to offer our Koh Samui Strain (KSS) syringes to the community! KSS is one of the mushrooms we have that stem from Thailand (see Ban Sa Phang Kha andThai Elephant Dung) and was introduced by the famous Josh Allen. It just happens its name comes from the small island it was found on, located right off Thailand’s coast. It’s important not to confuse it with Koh Samui Super Strain (KSSS) which is only available as swabs and is a little more advanced spores.
KSS is often mislabeled throughout the spore world as most people will sell it as its more advanced isolate KSSS. There is a key difference in the mushrooms as KSS resembles a more traditional cubensis while KSSS is very short, fat, and hard to collect spores from. This makes our KSS syringes great for novice learners who are looking to study spores from this region, without having to study difficult genetics.
KSS fruits are much different from their KSSS counterparts. To begin, they do grow vertically unlike KSSS which just grows fat. But KSS does not grow very tall and its considered short to other cubensis. They have convex caps that flatten completely in growth. And they also drop spores prints which KSSS does not, hence why these can have syringes. They are incredibly fast colonizers and very contaminant resistant. Overall makes them great for beginners or mycologists who like to collect strains from the great Josh Allen.

Why Buy Our KSS Spore Syringe?

We strive to provide you with the cleanest possible products. We make the all of the KSS spore syringe solution in front of Laminar Flow Hoods with HEPA filters. These HEPA filters have an efficiency rating of 99.97%. Meaning that the filter removes 99.97% of particles in the air. To make the actual spore solution, we take clean spores and mix them with sterile distilled water. Then, a magnetic stirrer properly mixes the solution to ensure an even distribution of spores throughout the solution.
