Moby Dick Spore Syringe Kit

When buying Moby Dick spores, be aware that they’re considered “active spores” which are for microscopy purposes only. DO NOT CONTACT US ABOUT ANYTHING REGARDING CULTIVATING OR GERMINATING ACTIVE SPORES.

Shipping is unavailable to California, Idaho, & Georgia. These 3 states strictly prohibit the possession of spores from psilocybin and psilocin producing mushroom species. Orders to these states will be refused and voided. Any payments made for orders to CA, ID, or GA will incur a $5 cancellation fee.

The provided images are for informational and educational purposes only and should only be used as a reference point. Images and spores are acquired from outside, trusted sources in a legal manner. We do not condone or participate in the cultivation of psilocybin or psilocin producing mushroom species.

When you buy a Moby Dick syringe, visibility is dependent on the characteristics of the spores themselves. As a result, not all spore syringes will look the same visibly. Despite any visible differences, they are still viable for microscopy research. More information on how we make our spore syringes and possible visible differences, check out our FAQ or blog post “Making Syringes”.

Origin information

Moby Dick is a very interesting variety to study. One of the main is reasons is because it is a leucistic variety. Leucism is a mutation that causes a lack of pigmentation. Because of this, the fruits are completely white, however the spores remain purple/black. This leads to beautiful white color mushrooms with contrasting dark color spores. Another reason that Moby Dick is a good variety to study is its genetics. It is a hybrid between two very popular Cubensis strains: Albino A+ (where it gets its leucism) and Golden Teachers (where it gets its rather large size).

Moby Dick is a relatively new variety to the spore world, but its definitely a great addition to any spore library! It is also a very beginner friendly variety, this is because it shares some of the same strong genetics as Golden Teachers. You can expect amazing research results when observing these unique spores.

We strive to provide you with the cleanest possible products. We make the all of the Moby Dick spore syringe solution in front of Laminar Flow Hoods with HEPA filters. These HEPA filters have an efficiency rating of 99.97%. Meaning that the filter removes 99.97% of particles in the air. To make the actual spore solution, we take clean spores and mix them with sterile distilled water. Then, a magnetic stirrer properly mixes the solution to ensure an even distribution of spores throughout the solution.
